My Approach
I believe our bodies were created by God with an innate ability to heal. I work gently with the body, supporting it in releasing tension, finding ease, and restoring balance.
My work is rooted in Gillespie Approach Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT) and Dynamic Body Balancing—gentle, hands-on approaches that work with the fascia, nervous system, and compensation patterns in the body.
My approach is gentle, intuitive, and centered on supporting your body in doing what it was created to do—heal.
The techniques I use are centered around looking at the body as a whole
Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT) - a gentle modality that aims to unwind and release fascial tension in the body. CFT combines craniosacral therapy and myofascial release techniques, along with dental techniques.
What is fascia? - a web of connective tissue that wraps around your organs, muscles, bones, brain, and spinal cord. When it’s tight, it pulls on the body causing restriction, compensation patterns, pain, and dysfunction.
What is the craniosacral system? - the membrane and fluid system that surrounds the brain and spinal cord. The craniosacral system sits inside the fascia web. Restrictions in the fascia web can cause tension in the craniosacral system.
Dynamic Body Balancing - a gentle, hands-on modality that uses craniosacral therapy and myofascial unwinding to help the body naturally unwind fascial tension. Dynamic Body Balancing aims to restore balance, release fascial tension, release stored trauma, and regulate the nervous system.

Sessions are done fully clothed. Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows for gentle movement and stretching. Please refrain from wearing dresses or skirts.

This will look different for everyone. Relaxation, emotional releases, symptom improvement, and releasing of old patterns are all possibilities. Changes can occur over the following days or weeks after a session is completed. The body releases fascial tension when it's ready.
-
The body likes to revert back to old patterns. Fascial therapy opens up the craniosacral system allowing for fascial tension to be released throughout the body. Scheduling sessions weekly or bi-weekly can help this system stay open longer allowing for more layers of fascial tension to be released while creating new patterns inside the body.
-
This depends on the individual persons needs and how they respond to fascial therapy. Most individuals will need 3-4 sessions, but some may need less and others more. Releasing fascial tension occurs in layers, often related to peeling an onion.
-
No, massage involves deep pressure that manipulates soft tissues and targets the muscles. Fascial therapy uses gentle, light touch aiming to open up the craniosacral system and unwind fascial tension throughout the body.
